DOGUBAYAZIT - Fourteen Iranians died when an Iranian passenger bus overturned in the eastern province of Agri on Monday, the governor said.
Mehmet Cetin, the governor of Agri, told AA correspondent that the Iranian passanger bus overturned 23 kilometers away from Agri's Dogubayazit town when it was heading for Iran.
"14 died and 23 others were wounded in the accident," Cetin said.
Cetin said that the injured were hospitalized in the nearby towns and provinces.
"Some of them are in critical condition," the governor said and expressed his fear and worry that the death toll might rise.
